The Practical Side of Passive House
This event is an opportunity for Architects, Designers, Engineers, Consultants and anyone planning to build, to see a Passive House under construction. You will get to experience and understand the 5 key principles that a Passive House build focuses on. We will be paying particular attention to airtightness, and how you can utilise airtightness as a goal in any build, be it a high-end energy efficient home, or just a standard residential home.
Description
We invite you to join us for a practical & INSTALL training session, delivered by pro clima’s Air Boss, Daniel Jakobs, in conjunction with the team from Scholten Group.
During this specialised, 2 hour, hands on session, you will get to:
- Understand the design principles of a Passive House, and the importance of correct detailing during the design phase.
- Learn about airtightness, and why it's an important goal for any project, not just passive houses.
- Practical installation of pro clima's internal and/or external membranes, tapes and other accessories.
- Answers to all of your burning questions.
All the hands-on fun will be followed by refreshments & banter!

We will be observing COVID-safe protocols during the training. Hand sanitiser and masks will be available for those who wish to use them, however we would encourage you to consider bringing your own PPE if needed.
