David (Dave) is the Technical Innovation Engineer at Pro Clima, where he draws on both hands-on construction experience and scientific expertise to help shape healthier, more durable buildings. With over a decade in residential construction, Dave has developed a strong appreciation for the realities of site work, sequencing, and the challenges trades face in achieving high-performance outcomes. Seeking to broaden his understanding and apply a more scientific lens to the industry, he undertook a degree in Applied Physics.

Now working at the intersection of theory and practice, Dave is passionate about translating complex building-science principles into practical solutions that improve weathertightness, airtightness, and energy efficiency. His goal is to combine his deep technical knowledge with his construction background to foster innovation in façade systems and building assemblies, ensuring structures are not only robust and efficient but also contribute to healthier indoor environments.
